Audio Production
Ich produziere Podcasts, Hörspiele, Features, Interviewformate, Audiowalks, Soundinstallationen und Klangarbeiten für Bühne, Film, Website und öffentlichen Raum.
Dazu gehören Konzeptentwicklung, Recherche, Aufnahme, Gesprächsführung, Schnitt, Dramaturgie, Mischung, Sounddesign und Produktionsplanung. Ich arbeite besonders gern mit Stimmen, dokumentarischem Material und komplexen Themen, die eine hörbare Form brauchen.
Mich interessiert nicht nur, ob etwas technisch sauber klingt. Mich interessiert, ob es trägt: rhythmisch, dramaturgisch, inhaltlich und atmosphärisch.
Creative Production & Beratung
Ich begleite Projekte dort, wo Idee, Inhalt, Technik und Form noch nicht sauber getrennt sind. Oft ist am Anfang noch offen, ob aus einem Stoff ein Podcast, eine Installation, ein Video, ein Live-Format, eine Website, ein Workshop oder eine hybride Form werden soll.
In solchen Prozessen kann ich strukturieren, beraten, mitentwickeln und praktisch umsetzen. Ich übersetze zwischen künstlerischer Leitung, Redaktion, Technik, Gestaltung und Produktion. Meine Stärke liegt darin, offene Ideen konkret zu machen, ohne sie vorschnell zu verkleinern.
Digitale Workflows, Video & KI
Neben Audio arbeite ich mit Videoschnitt, Web- und Veröffentlichungsstrukturen, WordPress, Podcast-Feeds, digitalen Archiven und KI-gestützten Produktionsprozessen.
Ich verstehe Technik als Werkzeug, nicht als Selbstzweck. Eine gute Lösung muss zum Projekt passen: künstlerisch sinnvoll, technisch stabil, bezahlbar und für alle Beteiligten nachvollziehbar. Besonders interessant sind für mich Setups, in denen Audio, Raum, Bild, Text, Daten und Publikum miteinander verbunden werden.
Dramaturgie & Formatentwicklung
Ich entwickle Formate für Kunst, Kultur, Wissenschaft und Vermittlung. Dabei geht es häufig um komplexe Inhalte: Forschung, gesellschaftliche Fragen, künstlerische Prozesse, Geschichte, Erinnerung, Zukunft, Klima, Technologie oder Zusammenarbeit.
Ich helfe dabei, aus Material eine Form zu entwickeln. Welche Stimmen braucht ein Projekt? Welche Perspektive trägt? Was muss erklärt werden, was darf offen bleiben? Wann entsteht aus Information Erfahrung?
Lehre & Workshops
Ich unterrichte experimentelles Radio, Podcast, Hörspiel, Sounddramaturgie und künstlerische Audiopraxis. Von 2014 bis 2021 war ich künstlerischer Mitarbeiter an der Professur Experimentelles Radio der Bauhaus-Universität Weimar.
In der Lehre arbeite ich mit Studierenden auf Augenhöhe. Es geht nicht darum, fertige Lösungen vorzugeben, sondern gemeinsam herauszufinden, was ein Material, eine Stimme oder eine Idee werden kann. Ich begleite künstlerische Prozesse von der ersten Skizze bis zur Präsentation: konzeptuell, dramaturgisch, technisch und manchmal auch ganz pragmatisch mit Kabel, Recorder und Schnittprogramm.
Geeignet sind kurze Workshops, Blockseminare, Projektwochen, regelmäßige Hochschulseminare oder Mentorate für künstlerische Audio-, Radio-, Podcast- und Soundprojekte.
Audio Production
I produce podcasts, radio plays, features, interview formats, audio walks, sound installations and sound works for stage, film, websites and public space.
This includes concept development, research, recording, interviewing, editing, dramaturgy, mixing, sound design and production planning. I particularly enjoy working with voices, documentary material and complex subjects that need to find an audible form.
I am not only interested in whether something sounds technically clean. I am interested in whether it carries: rhythmically, dramaturgically, in terms of content and atmosphere.
Creative Production & Consulting
I accompany projects at the point where idea, content, technology and form are not yet clearly separated. At the beginning, it is often still open whether a subject will become a podcast, an installation, a video, a live format, a website, a workshop or a hybrid form.
In such processes, I can structure, advise, co-develop and practically implement ideas. I translate between artistic direction, editorial work, technology, design and production. My strength lies in making open ideas concrete without reducing them too quickly.
Digital Workflows, Video & AI
In addition to audio, I work with video editing, web and publishing structures, WordPress, podcast feeds, digital archives and AI-supported production processes.
I understand technology as a tool, not as an end in itself. A good solution has to fit the project: artistically meaningful, technically stable, affordable and understandable for everyone involved. I am particularly interested in setups in which audio, space, image, text, data and audience are connected.
Dramaturgy & Format Development
I develop formats for art, culture, science and mediation. These often deal with complex subjects: research, social questions, artistic processes, history, memory, the future, climate, technology or collaboration.
I help develop a form from the available material. Which voices does a project need? Which perspective carries it? What needs to be explained, and what should remain open? When does information become experience?
Teaching & Workshops
I teach experimental radio, podcasting, radio drama, sound dramaturgy and artistic audio practice. From 2014 to 2021, I was an artistic associate at the Chair of Experimental Radio at Bauhaus University Weimar.
In teaching, I work with students on equal terms. The aim is not to prescribe ready-made solutions, but to find out together what a piece of material, a voice or an idea can become. I accompany artistic processes from the first sketch to the presentation: conceptually, dramaturgically, technically and sometimes also very pragmatically with cables, recorders and editing software.
Suitable formats include short workshops, block seminars, project weeks, regular university seminars or mentoring for artistic audio, radio, podcast and sound projects.
Production audio
Je produis des podcasts, des fictions radiophoniques, des documentaires sonores, des formats d’entretien, des audiowalks, des installations sonores et des créations acoustiques pour la scène, le film, le web et l’espace public.
Cela comprend le développement de concepts, la recherche, l’enregistrement, la conduite d’entretiens, le montage, la dramaturgie, le mixage, le sound design et la planification de production. J’aime particulièrement travailler avec les voix, les matériaux documentaires et les sujets complexes qui ont besoin de trouver une forme audible.
Ce qui m’intéresse, ce n’est pas seulement qu’un projet sonne proprement sur le plan technique. Ce qui m’intéresse, c’est qu’il tienne : rythmiquement, dramaturgiquement, dans son contenu et dans son atmosphère.
Production créative & conseil
J’accompagne des projets là où l’idée, le contenu, la technique et la forme ne sont pas encore clairement séparés. Au début, il est souvent encore ouvert si une matière deviendra un podcast, une installation, une vidéo, un format live, un site web, un atelier ou une forme hybride.
Dans ces processus, je peux structurer, conseiller, co-développer et mettre en œuvre concrètement. Je fais le lien entre direction artistique, rédaction, technique, conception et production. Ma force consiste à rendre des idées ouvertes plus concrètes, sans les réduire trop vite.
Workflows numériques, vidéo & IA
En plus de l’audio, je travaille avec le montage vidéo, les structures web et de publication, WordPress, les flux de podcasts, les archives numériques et les processus de production assistés par l’IA.
Je comprends la technique comme un outil, pas comme une fin en soi. Une bonne solution doit correspondre au projet : pertinente sur le plan artistique, stable sur le plan technique, abordable et compréhensible pour toutes les personnes impliquées. Les dispositifs qui relient l’audio, l’espace, l’image, le texte, les données et le public m’intéressent particulièrement.
Dramaturgie & développement de formats
Je développe des formats pour l’art, la culture, la science et la médiation. Il s’agit souvent de contenus complexes : recherche, questions sociales, processus artistiques, histoire, mémoire, avenir, climat, technologie ou collaboration.
J’aide à développer une forme à partir d’un matériau. De quelles voix un projet a-t-il besoin ? Quelle perspective le porte ? Qu’est-ce qui doit être expliqué, et qu’est-ce qui peut rester ouvert ? À quel moment l’information devient-elle expérience ?
Enseignement & ateliers
J’enseigne la radio expérimentale, le podcast, la fiction radiophonique, la dramaturgie sonore et la pratique artistique de l’audio. De 2014 à 2021, j’ai été collaborateur artistique à la chaire de Radio expérimentale de la Bauhaus-Universität Weimar.
Dans l’enseignement, je travaille avec les étudiant·es sur un pied d’égalité. Il ne s’agit pas de donner des solutions toutes faites, mais de découvrir ensemble ce qu’un matériau, une voix ou une idée peut devenir. J’accompagne les processus artistiques de la première esquisse jusqu’à la présentation : sur le plan conceptuel, dramaturgique, technique et parfois aussi très concrètement avec des câbles, des enregistreurs et un logiciel de montage.
Les formats possibles sont des ateliers courts, des séminaires intensifs, des semaines de projet, des séminaires universitaires réguliers ou des mentorats pour des projets artistiques audio, radio, podcast et sonores.
