Fabian Kuehlein entwickelt, produziert und begleitet Audioformate, künstlerische Projekte und digitale Erzählformen. Seit 2005 arbeitet er an der Schnittstelle von Radio, Podcast, Hörspiel, Theater, Soundinstallation, Film und künstlerischer Forschung.
Sein Ausgangspunkt ist oft das gesprochene Wort: Stimmen, Gespräche, Interviews, dokumentarisches Material, Pausen, Zweifel, Gedanken im Entstehen. Daraus entwickelt er Formate, die nicht nur Inhalte vermitteln, sondern eine eigene akustische und dramaturgische Form finden.
Als Creative Producer verbindet er künstlerisches Denken mit praktischer Umsetzung. Er begleitet Projekte von der ersten Idee bis zur Veröffentlichung: Konzept, Recherche, Aufnahme, Schnitt, Dramaturgie, Mischung, Sounddesign, Produktionsplanung und technische Realisierung. Dabei denkt er Audio nicht isoliert, sondern im Zusammenhang mit Bühne, Raum, Website, Video, Publikum, Vermittlung und Veröffentlichung.
Neben klassischer Audioproduktion bringt er Erfahrung in Videoschnitt, digitalen Workflows, WordPress, Podcast-Veröffentlichung, einfachen Webstrukturen, KI-gestützten Produktionsprozessen und experimentellen technischen Setups mit. Er ist kein reiner Techniker und kein klassischer Entwickler, sondern ein vielseitiger Mitarbeiter und Berater zwischen Inhalt, Kunst, Technik und Produktion.
Seine Arbeit richtet sich an Kulturinstitutionen, Theater, Hochschulen, Forschungseinrichtungen, künstlerische Teams und Projekte, die komplexe Inhalte nicht glätten wollen, sondern eine präzise, zugängliche und eigenständige Form dafür suchen.

Fabian Kuehlein develops, produces and supports audio formats, artistic projects and digital forms of storytelling. Since 2005, he has worked at the intersection of radio, podcasting, radio drama, theatre, sound installation, film and artistic research.
His starting point is often the spoken word: voices, conversations, interviews, documentary material, pauses, doubts, thoughts in the making. From this, he develops formats that do not merely convey content, but find their own acoustic and dramaturgical form.
As a Creative Producer, he combines artistic thinking with practical implementation. He supports projects from the initial idea through to publication: concept, research, recording, editing, dramaturgy, mixing, sound design, production planning and technical realisation. He does not think of audio in isolation, but in relation to stage, space, website, video, audience, mediation and publication.
In addition to classical audio production, he brings experience in video editing, digital workflows, WordPress, podcast publishing, simple web structures, AI-supported production processes and experimental technical setups. He is neither a pure technician nor a conventional developer, but a versatile collaborator and consultant working between content, art, technology and production.
His work is aimed at cultural institutions, theatres, universities, research institutions, artistic teams and projects that do not want to smooth out complex content, but are looking for a precise, accessible and distinctive form for it.

Son point de départ est souvent la parole : des voix, des conversations, des interviews, du matériau documentaire, des silences, des doutes, des pensées en train de se former. À partir de là, il développe des formats qui ne se contentent pas de transmettre des contenus, mais trouvent leur propre forme acoustique et dramaturgique.
En tant que Creative Producer, il relie la pensée artistique à la mise en œuvre concrète. Il accompagne les projets depuis la première idée jusqu’à leur publication : conception, recherche, enregistrement, montage, dramaturgie, mixage, sound design, planification de production et réalisation technique. Il ne pense pas l’audio de manière isolée, mais en lien avec la scène, l’espace, le site web, la vidéo, le public, la médiation et la publication.
Au-delà de la production audio classique, il apporte une expérience en montage vidéo, workflows numériques, WordPress, publication de podcasts, structures web simples, processus de production assistés par l’IA et dispositifs techniques expérimentaux. Il n’est ni un pur technicien ni un développeur classique, mais un collaborateur et conseiller polyvalent, travaillant entre contenu, art, technique et production.
